The grass is growing and so is Sawyer! Had to post a couple cute photos we took yesterday. It's amazing the joy such simple things bring!

Sawyer's new friend

Sawyer and our new foster dog "Katie" have really hit it off. She is such a little angel and adores Sawyer. She does have a couple really good applications though so this will not be a 4th dog for our family!

Walking more & more

Fresh from the bathtub, Sawyer discovered cars, trucks & motorcycles on his jammies tonight! It was so cute to see him get excited at what he saw on his jammies :) He is walking more then he is crawling these days. Still very uneasy but he doesn't mind a fall now and then.

Sawyer's birthday weekend

Happy 1st Birthday, Sawyer! We enjoyed this past weekend with our friends and family in Olympia and made many wonderful memories. Sawyer was able to relax with Grandpa in his easy chair, visit with his horse Heidi, have lunch by the Olympia waterfront and of course get plenty of kisses from all of us! Thank you to all of you that helped us celebrate this special boy's birthday.

Sawyer's 1st cupcake :)

Yesterday we had a small group of Sawyer's friends over for an early b-day celebration since we will be traveling to Olympia for his actual birthday. I made "froggy" cupcakes and to our surprise Sawyer ate the WHOLE cupcake! He was pretty amazed at how good sugar tastes!!

Enjoy the pictures :)

Sawyer on the fence line

More pictures of today's walk. Sawyer posed on the fence line at the trial head. What a cute little boy!

A Sunny Walk

Hello,

Today we took a walk to Waiwai Park with Sawyer and the dogs. We hiked up to the top of the lookout and enjoyed the view of the Snake River. It was a beautiful day and gave us all spring fever! Sawyer turned 10 months old a couple days ago!

Enjoy the pictures!

The New Year

Sorry I haven't updated in a while but things are so crazy the first of the year and we have been working hard on improvements to the house. The basement is done...just a few minor touch ups to do now. Sawyer is enjoying "his space" and has room to spread his toys out everywhere.

He's pictured here just up from a nap. Oh, big news...he is finally sleeping through the night in his crib!! 9 months and 1 week old and he decided that he would do that for his mom and dad.

Sawyer meets Santa

A day after Sawyer turned 8 months old we brought him to meet Santa. He was happy to see him at first but when we stepped away to take pictures he got a sad look on his face and looked around like, "I hope you aren't leaving me with this guy?"...he never cried and after I comforted him a bit he was happy with Santa again. It was really cute! We are all looking forward to spending time with friends and family in Olympia during Christmas.

Sawyer's 1st Thanksgiving

Sawyer enjoyed his 1st Thanksgiving with Grandma Rita, Grandpa John and Auntie Kari. They traveled over to Pullman to join Sawyer in his 1st Thanksgiving feast (as you can see in one of the pictures, he's drooling over it) :) Also, Auntie turned 25 on the 25th of November so we celebrated that also. Great weekend.

Till later,

Brooke
