A Road Trip

We have just returned from a week full of adventure starting with a trip to Bend, Oregon where we met up with Gramma, Papa, Auntie Sissy and her beau, Steven.




We stayed in a room right on the Deschutes River - it was beautiful but the weather could of been a bit warmer :)

Then we continued on to Olympia and one day got to visit the beach at "low-tide"...lots of crabs and shells to look at!






We spent a night with Great Grandma before heading back to Pullman. She sang and rocked Sawyer and he slept sounder then he has in a long time!

Sawyer had a lot of fun with pinecones, sticks and other "native" things. We had quite the collection to go home with!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated Sawyer's b-day yesterday (a day early) so that Aunty Sissy could have some cake with Sawyer too!








Sawyer received a kitchen from Grandma & Papa - he has been entertained completely! Cooking for everyone.



Sawyer celebrated his 2nd birthday today at school. Dan, Grandma and myself took cupcakes to his class. We sang to him and he even got a special b-day hat!

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday we all went to the egg hunt in Pullman. Sawyer met the Easter Bunny for the first time.

A weekend full of sunshine

Boy do we have spring fever! 60 degree temps and the wonderful sunshine all weekend! We got out quite a bit this weekend. Saturday we went up to Sunnyside Park and then today (Sunday) went to Boyer Park down at the Snake River. Dogs got lots of running around time and Sawyer did too!

We were able to get the trike out for our Boyer Park trip. Sawyer enjoyed it most of the way but did do some of his own walking too...

Sawyer & Butch

Sawyer & Quila met Butch last week for a photo-op. I took the pictures and made Valentines out of them :)

Cooking time

Sawyer's Nanny, Emily, gave him this cooking set for x-mas. I saved it for a day when his other x-mas gifts "wore off" and today was the day! He loves to "cook with mama" so this was a big hit.








Being interrupted while cooking does not make this chef too happy :)
