A Warm Weekend

Like most days in July on the Palouse...it was a warm weekend! Dan was "SuperMan" again and painted the trim - looks great! After that was finished and we had cleaned everything up, we took Sawyer & Tallulah down to the coffee shop to get a smoothie treat and then onto the park for a run in the spinkler and some shade. Summer is great ;)

A Wedding & Some Carnival Rides Too!

A weekend packed full of fun for Sawyer...we went down to Lakefair in Olympia for a first "carnival experience". He couldn't stop laughing and his smile was contagious.




Then Sawyer was in his first wedding. My cousin, Amy, marriage Abel Anderson on July 21st. A beautiful setting and a drizzle of rain made a perfect afternoon. Lots of fun with family.







Sawyer had a great time in the rain and had a "Ralphy" moment but luckily it wasn't freezing out!




My sister had some shoes with lots of sparkle and he thought those were worth checking out for a while.

A Day at the River

We took family (Grammy & Grandpa were visiting this weekend) down to the river yesterday and had a very good time.

A Road Trip

We have just returned from a week full of adventure starting with a trip to Bend, Oregon where we met up with Gramma, Papa, Auntie Sissy and her beau, Steven.




We stayed in a room right on the Deschutes River - it was beautiful but the weather could of been a bit warmer :)

Then we continued on to Olympia and one day got to visit the beach at "low-tide"...lots of crabs and shells to look at!






We spent a night with Great Grandma before heading back to Pullman. She sang and rocked Sawyer and he slept sounder then he has in a long time!

Sawyer had a lot of fun with pinecones, sticks and other "native" things. We had quite the collection to go home with!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated Sawyer's b-day yesterday (a day early) so that Aunty Sissy could have some cake with Sawyer too!








Sawyer received a kitchen from Grandma & Papa - he has been entertained completely! Cooking for everyone.



Sawyer celebrated his 2nd birthday today at school. Dan, Grandma and myself took cupcakes to his class. We sang to him and he even got a special b-day hat!
