Today I graduated from massage therapy school. My dad and Sawyer came (Dan is out of town taking his boards!!)
Sawyer had lots of fun with lemon-aid and carrot cake. He also met a friend. Clyse is a friend/classmate's little boy. What a duo they were, running and laughing at the reception. Boys :)

Em's Wedding & A Quiet Sunday
On May 10th we visited Western WA for Emily & Ryan's wedding. Em was Sawyer's nanny here in Pullman until she moved last year. We still miss her SO much! It was so nice to see her and Ryan and meet all of their family. Sawyer was the ring bearer and did a very good job - he's booked for two gigs this year..the other being my sister and Steven's wedding in September. I took a few pictures but there were so many photos being taken that I am hoping to get a few copies of other's photos :)
Sawyer got into his PJs and danced the night away - here he is with the flower girl (Em & Ryan's neice, Jenna).
Yesterday, we had the afternoon to hang out as a family and took a walk downtown Pullman for icecream. The bandana Sawyer is wearing is his trusty "cape" that he had to have on for our walk :)
I also snapped a couple pictures of landmarks in Pullman that we've enjoyed and will miss when we leave in July.

Tulips & sheep herding
The tulips are out in full force now. Each year I like to get a few pictures of Sawyer and our front yard tulips.
This past Sunday, a good friend and her Cattle Dog and myself and Miss Lu went to a herding lesson with Lynn Leach http://www.downriver.org/
Tallulah's first exposure to stock since she was a very wee pup (ducks where he first exposure actually) We had a lot of fun.
Getting to work....

Happy 3rd Birthday!
Finally getting Sawyer's 3rd b-day pictures up. What a great weekend we had. Sawyer had his b-day party with family and friends on Sat., April 5th - Grandma, Papa, Auntie Sissy and Great Grandma came over from Western WA. It was a "cowboy" themed party and we all enjoyed the gear as you can see from the pictures below.
Sawyer had lots of fun with all of our visitors, Great Grandma is always so much fun!
Mama and her girls....
On Sawyer's birthday, Wed., April 9th, we had cake at his school. Green frosting everywhere, I don't know why I chose this twice in one week :)

Celebrating 33 years
Dan turned 33 on the 10th so Sawyer and I baked him a cake with sprinkles and made dinner too. It was a fun night with just the three of us. Dan's gift from my parents and myself was this wonderful picture of the three cowdog princesses done by Rebecca with ArtPaw - a fantastic job that we will all enjoy for years.

Almost Spring....
Today Sawyer, Tallulah and I got out to the park. It was sunny and the snow is almost all gone. It feels like spring might actually be just around the corner.
The pond at the park was still pretty frozen so no ducks to watch today.

2 feet and counting!
More snow then we've seen here on the Palouse since our arrival in 2000. Lots of work but Papa is visiting and is stuck here while the passes are closed so another shoveler on hand is always nice.
We headed up to campus after WSU was closed for the first time in 20 years. It was a beautiful winter scene with lots of students out and about - snowboarding & sledding. Dan & Sawyer took a turn down the hill.

A Winter Wonderland
We woke up to more snow today on the Palouse - the weather is just beautiful today, bright light, warm sun, no wind. It really couldn't get better this time of year.
We took a usual hike to a local park with the dogs and Sawyer towing behind in his sled.
A couple great barns near the park.
Dogs were "dog tired" when we got home....

Happy New Year - 2008
Sawyer's visit to Santa a few days before Christmas. The closest he got to sitting on Santa's lap was sitting on Mama's lap ;)
We took a New Years walk in all the snow Pullman has right now. Sawyer wasn't up for it at first but he livened up after a while.
