After waking from a nap yesterday I took these of Sawyer and his "creatures" as he calls them. He insists on sleeping with all 8 of them.

Horse'n Around
On our trip to WA for my sister's wedding Dan and Sawyer got some riding time in on Grandpa's horse "Rio".
On the way, Sawyer asked the flight attendant if he could go meet the pilot!
These were a couple days ago when we were cleaning up part of the pasture (after it was cut) for my agility field.

The Wedding
My beautiful sister (AKA Sawyer's Auntie Sissy) was married to Steven Winterfeld, September 13, 2008. The setting couldn't of been more perfect. In the shadow of Mt. Rainier in Enumclaw, WA (Steven's home town) they exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
The party afterwards was tons of fun too but what did we expect, the Winterfelds and Snevas know how to party :)

The Journey to Texas
We left Olympia early July 10th and arrived at our first stop in Twin Falls, Idaho at 11:15 p.m. Long day but filled with fun stops like the Columbia Gorge where the dogs had fun in the water and we some beautiful scenery.
Stopped in Baker City for some herding and more swimming. We unzipped the top of our soft crate so that Hagen could have a little more head room ;)
Twin Falls was a bigger place then we had expected. An absolutely breathtaking view from the bridge that takes you in and out of the city.
On the 11th we continued to Utah where we saw Salt Lake City (Dan's place of birth) and let the dogs swim again. Although, this lake (Lake Utah) was really warm and pretty salty, the dogs didn't seem to mind. They were just happy to get out and stretch their legs and so were we.
We stayed the night in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Through Colorado, New Mexico and finally into Texas
These first two are of Blue Mesa Resevoire in CO.
We stayed the night in Amarillo, TX before continuing on to College Station because it took us a whole day to travel through Texas.
Reaching College Station and seeing we have prickly pear in our backyard was fun ;) Sawyer, Gramma and the kitties made it on the plane and we were so happy to see them all. The sunsets are beautiful off our back porch.
